AMAZING Resin Covered Charm with DeeDee Catron

Hi Folks!! DeeDee here today! You may remember a post back a while where I covered some chipboard with Amazing Clear Cast Resin... well today I'm pulling my chipboard back in, but with some more detailed altering using resin!

Let's create this baby shall we?

Start with a plain piece of chipboard - this one comes
from UmWowStudio in a Swallow shape.

Then cover it in gesso to start the base.

Grab your Amazing Casting Resin and Yellow Alumilite Dye to create the splatters.
Stir sticks are important! You can see it in motion in this video here:

Allow the resin to cure, then add seed beads, eBeads, glitter and some alphas (These are from 7 Dots Studio). I also did a tiny bit of doodling (with a Sakura of America Micron pen because it's waterproof!) Then I covered the beauty in Amazing Clear Cast Resin to finish it, secure everything super well, and make it sturdy! Can't wait to add this to a wearable piece!

Have you used resin on any wearable pieces?
Earrings? Necklaces? Pins? What?
What might you if you had the chance?
