Take a #Cre8time Whimsical Home Tour with Aimée Wheaton

Little tiny houses!! How cute are they? I found them while browsing online but thought they'd be much bigger. They are made out of chipboard and I ordered them through Stampington and Company Shoppe at Somerset website. I thought they'd be adorable for a knick knack at home.

The little resin embellishments were molded from vintage buttons in my collection with the fabulous Amazing Mold Putty. I used the Copper Alumilite Metallic Powder in the molds as well as the Alumilite Red Dye mixed with Amazing Casting Resin. Using various mixed media items such as: Caran d'Ache Neocolor® water soluble crayons; Ranger Distress Inks; glue gun; journaling pen; Silver Alumilite Metallic Powder; and ink pads this is what I came up with. This would be a fun project to do with kiddos!

This house is adorned with a casting of my favorite button!

They are not permanently attached to the vintage cutting board – but I may do that at a later date. For now they are perched there. I would love to hear what you think?

Let's see what you can create
with vintage buttons,

Feel free to stop by my FB page to see the latest with me.
