Welcome to Mold Rubber Monday here at Amazing Crafting Products where we share projects using our new product Amazing Mold Rubber!
Amazing Mold Rubber is a two-part liquid rubber used to make extremely elastic molds to produce quick and exact reproductions of your original. Replicas can then be cast in Amazing Casting Resin, Amazing Clear Cast Resin for plastic parts - or use other materials such as plaster, wax, clay or polyester.
This is one of my molds created using the new Amazing Mold Rubber that has a couple of dominos and other findings. When ever I am doing resin pours, I make up a little extra and pour into my miscellaneous finding molds so I have embellishments ready to alter.
I quickly gathered an assortment of white dominos cast in Amazing Casting Resin {which is an opaque white} and also colored dominos with two drops of the new Alumilite Fluorescent (Flo) Orange Dye or Alumilite Violet Dye per volume of two teaspoons of resin mixed. WOW!!! I love that Violet Dye... that is totally GRAPE!
For this project I altered the domino by collaging painted and stamped book paper to the cast domino. Then I finished it off with burlap twine. For all the details of how I made this mini book, please CLICK HERE.
My altered Maya Road mini book is ready for the upcoming fall season and I can use it to gather pictures and other momentos from the "SEASON OF CHANGE"... including Thanksgiving.
