Happy Friday and Happy New Year Amazing Crafters! Today we kick off the new year with our "Featured Artist" series here at the Amazing Casting Products blog. Each month we feature one artist who will share a special project and some inspiration using Amazing Casting Products.
Our featured artist this month is a new friend to us, who we found on instagram for our ACPThrowback Third Thursdays. Lara Hjorthoy is a sculptor who makes these uber cute monsters and we are excited that she is joining us as our Featured Artist for January. We can't wait to see what creations she brings to life using Amazing Crafting Products.
A little bit about Lara...

I'm Lara Hjorthoy(your-toy), from Vancouver, Canada. I'm an Illustrator, Sculptor, and Makeup Artist! Also work part-time as a retail sales clerk for Opus Art Supplies, on beautiful Granville Island.
After a life long addiction to drawing and art, I spent a year in beauty and special FX makeup school and solidified another great love... sculpture... and zombies!
Which pretty much brings you up to date.
Now I spend my time, sculpting and molding cute creatures of all kinds, (available for sale at my Etsy Shop: YourToyCreations.etsy.com, painting calm and whimsical worlds and occasionally creating zombie madness!
Learning resin and mold making is taking all these worlds to whole new levels!!
