All that Glitters is GOLD for International Scrapbooking Day!

Hello Amazing Creatives and Happy International Scrapbooking Day! Today we are sharing a project from Tina Walker of Frog Dog Studio... her April Edition of 'A Blank Canvas'. Each month Tina shares her creative process on how she transforms a blank sheet of chipboard into a Mixed Media layout, using the current Frog Dog Studio month's kit supplies!

We hope you enjoy this in-depth look at Tina's blank canvas transformation utilizing Amazing Crafting Products combined with the Frog Dog Studio April Mixed Media Kit. She's already got a brand new layout using the FDS May Kit {click here to jump over to view}. Scroll down to end of post to view info on the supplies used in this project.

I completely fell in love with Alumidust, an Amazing Crafting Products support product. It's original intended use is for Fishing Lures, etc., but that never stopped a crafter! No way! I used several shades of Alumidust and Alumilite Metallic Powders on my layout to create AMAZING texture and color!

Here's several close-ups before we get to the Video Tutorial!

I hope you enjoy my creative process.

Precious Memories

Hello Everyone. Molly here to share with you one of the many wonderful things you can do with Amazing Mold Putty and Amazing Casting Resin.

I wanted to make a page about my father and wanted to add one of the old antique key he had given me, but it was just to heavy to put on a page. So in comes AMAZING MOLD PUTTY.

I mixed equal amounts of yellow and white putty until I got an uniform yellow color.

Then I placed the key into the putty and let it sit for a few minutes. Then I removed the key and let the mold sit until it was hardened.

I then filled the mold with paper clay and waited for it to dry.

Then using various paints and mica powders I tried to get it to match the original key. I think I got pretty darn close, don't you? The original is the top one.

Then I added it to my page. I LIGHT key that will always remind me of the one my father gave me.

Thanks for stopping by today, and make sure to check out http://amazingmoldputtyblogspot.com.
We have an wonderful team with lots of great ideas.

Hugs~~

Just Fly

Happy 2012 everyone.  Today I created a 12 x 12 layout for you reflecting my resolution for 2012...to live.  To be the best I can be, be happy and be me.  I was able to create the beautiful vintage style buckle that I think is a highlight to my page ...all with Amazing Mold Putty.

Once I was ready to pour my buckle I used just a toothpick dab of the caucasian dye to give it the vintage pink tone.

Once it was dried overnight I ran it through my ribbon as a great scrapbook adornment.

The butterflies were fussy cut from paper and then covered with Sakura to give them a more finished look.

I hope you have a blessed 2012 and remember to LIVE LIFE TO IT"S FULLEST!!

Hugs,
