Frankie's Broken Heart Resin Necklace... AMAZING Inspiration from Tanya Ruffin

Poor Frankie – he just can't seem to catch a break! This necklace was created as an homage to his broken heart and Amazing Crafting Products helped bring this to life.

I used Sculpey (and some watch parts) to sculpt the heart; Amazing Mold Putty to mold the heart; Amazing Casting Resin to cast the heart, some Mod Molds (as molds for the gears, lock and key), as well as some Etsy purchased monster molds.

First, I formed heart shape out of Sculpey clay.

I sculpted and added details to make it a broken heart, then embellished it with recycled watch parts. My broken heart is ready for molding in Amazing Mold Putty!

The cast heart, painted red and silver Rub 'n Buff®.

to quickly create a bunch of gears and key charms.

Add a few jump rings to dangle them on a silver chain...
and I have a fun NEW necklace for the Halloween season.

What kind of items will you mold/cast
into charms for your custom necklace?

Until Next Time... ~ Tanya
