Hail To An AMAZING Queen... Inspiration from Lynne Suprock

Presenting an AMAZING Tiara To Inspire!

Lynne Suprock here feeling pretty terrific that I have been welcomed into the fold here at Amazing Crafting Products. The design team is so creative and kind. It will be a pleasure designing and teaching with them, using the Amazing Molding PuttyAmazing Casting Resin, and all the other fabulous products.

My business is called Simply Pretty Stuff and I teach creative mixed media workshops around the country. I love to design and prototype and never tire of seeing my things on the pages of magazines such as Belle Armoire, Jewelry Affaire and Just Steampunk. I am honored and humbled to be able to do these things. It is through art that I hope to now make a difference in my life and in the lives of others. I have met so many remarkable people and made good friends while on this path.  It has truly been life changing.

OK, introductions aside, I just wanted to share this terrific idea for a tiara piece! As an instructor, I love teaching my tiara workshops. One of the things that I am always trying to improve with tiara design is the "wearer friendly" part of it. Unless they are wires adorned with light beads, most tiaras can weigh you down and by night – end up a relief to remove.

Amazing Crafting Products give us another option to provide the look of large and fabulous, without unnecessary or awkward weight. By using the Amazing Molding Putty and the Amazing Casting Resin, you can design one that is fit for a queen!!

Variations of this particular piece can be made in my Tiara Extraordinaire workshop this fall for the Art Is You Retreats in Stamford, CT. Please CLICK HERE to stop by the site to check out this popular venue!  Here is a video snippet on what I will be showing students what to do!

I am glad you stopped by to take a peek at one of my many projects that I will be sharing with you throughout the coming months! Please visit my blog "Simply Pretty Stuff" to see more of my creations. ~ Lynne

A little Re-INTROduction to Amazing Mold Rubber

Welcome to another Mold Rubber Monday! Susan here to reshare a video introduction to mixing and preparing a mold using Amazing Mold Rubber. We have so many new friends and users of Amazing Crafting Products, I thought it's a good time to share this again. This video is recorded in real time with no editing – so you can see how quick and easy molding with this product is.

Amazing Mold Rubber is now available in Hobby Lobby Stores and other retail locations, so basic getting started info is always useful. That's one of the great things about these products – the projects and techniques shared here never get old, so please feel free to search our archives and get inspired and excited about mold-making and casting! ENJOY :)

Amazing Mold Rubber is an easy to use, high strength liquid silicone mold making rubber that is strong, soft and flexible - great for undercut parts and cures in approx. four hours. Amazing Mold Rubber is a two-part liquid rubber used to make extremely elastic molds to produce quick and exact reproductions of your original. Replicas can then be cast in Amazing Casting Resin, Amazing Clear Cast Resin for plastic parts - or use other materials such as plaster, wax, clay or polyester... and that's just the beginning to all the fabulous uses just waiting to be discovered!

After four hours my Amazing Mold Rubber was fully cured and my AMAZING No-Gelatin Rubber Plate was ready for a joyride! CLICK HERE to view a second video which is a test run on my faux gelatin plate... and my FIRST TRY at Gellin'.

** I'm so excited that Lynne is joining us - I was introduced to her work in the latest issue of Just Steampunk IV Magazine... and thanks to the graces of social media and shared love for Amazing Mold Putty and Amazing Casting Resin that we have been brought together.

Lynne Suprock currently designs, writes and conducts workshops in the art community. She began her career as a mixed media artist, after many years as a leader in nursing education. Since 2007, Lynne traded her skills in clinical nursing instruction for those tools of the trade used to teach art and design, as she continues to make a difference helping others.

She has been both vendor and instructor at Art & Soul Retreat, in Virginia Beach, VA, and The Art Is You Retreat in Stamford, CT,  CREATE, Somerset, NJ, and  Beadfest, Philadelphia, PA. She teaches locally at the Adams County Arts Council of PA and at The Charmed I’m Sure Studio in Mechanicsburg, PA.  As well, Lynne has published several articles in Belle Armoire Jewelry,  Jewelry Affaire Magazine,  PAGES, and Just Steampunk Magazine.  She also had two necklaces featured in 2013 Lark’s 500 Showcase Necklaces.

** I was introduced to the wonderful paintings by Aimée a year or two ago in doing volunteer work with Bernie Berlin's 'Revolution For Life' team for A Place to Bark. I had the great pleasure of spending the afternoon with Aimée {pronounced Ah-may} this past weekend, enjoying lunch, talking all about art, Amazing Crafting Products and becoming fast friends. We took a little excursion to do some artful junque-ing for some vintage treasures perfect for molding. We had an amazing time and since she too is a fellow Floridian – can't wait until our next ART-venture!

Aimée Wheaton has been a creative and professional graphic designer and visual artist for more than 20 years. Her love of art began when she was a young girl where she explored the use of bright colors and painted rocks and bottles. She earned her BA degree at SUNY Plattsburgh in Fine Arts and a minor in Graphic Design. She pursued her career in graphic arts and worked as a designer for 15+ years. Some of her designs were published in industry standard magazines.

She got tired of the corporate life and discovered mixed media art. Soon after came family life. Now she juggles being a wife, mother to her 2 young daughters and her art career. Residing in Florida she participates in local art/gallery events as well as sells her art online and in local boutiques. She also has begun teaching online classes in 2014.

You can visit Aimée's website www.aimeewheaton.com and her latest class "Painting from Your Soul" is available here http://gracefulartist.com/paintingfromyoursoul/.
