Deck the Tree with Miniature TOY Guns! AMAZING Inspiration by Lonnie Sexton

With the holidays at full throttle, I thought I’d share a different sort of inspiration. I had to come up with something fun and in season year Round... something with a little Bang. I struggled at first to come up with an "off the wall" idea, but then it Clicked – 1:10 Scale Miniature Guns!

I know this can be a hot topic and some people just can’t agree. It’s a tiresome debate with the same arguments on both sides. What I can say for sure is that miniatures are here to stay and society will just have to learn how to live with them… Now on to the toy guns.

The primary guns are made from Basswood, Styrene and Brass. 

1:10 scale .50 Cal Sniper - primary

I used Amazing Mold Putty to create a 2-part mold of the wood/plastic/brass originals and Amazing Casting Resin to cast the part in the mold. 

With Alumilite Gun Metal Metallic Powder.

Long range scope

.50 cal receiver in an Amazing Mold Putty (2-part mold) 

All the guns are meant to "break-down" like the 1:1 and fit into

an Amazing Casting Resin mini case.

Making a CASE for Amazing Crafting Products... November Inspiration by Lonnie Sexton

This project is for 1/10th scale remote control crawler accessories. They are used to decorate and accent the vehicles. The primary cases are made from basswood and styrene plastic. The molds are made with Amazing Mold Rubber and Amazing Mold Putty. The cases are cast in Amazing Casting Resin and Amazing Clear Cast Resin.

Mini Pinball Machine and Amazing Mold Putty...by Lonnie Sexton

Hello everyone! Lonnie here with another 1:10 scale minature project I've been working on - and Amazing Mold Putty and Amazing Casting Resin helped make this come to life.

    

    

 This Assassin’s Creed theme Pinball machine was made from Basswood, Styrene, Brass and Plexi-Glass. The flipper arm rockers were made using Amazing Mold Putty and Casting Resin. I created design templates with artwork from UBI soft and deviant artist William Schoof.

Primary - Rocker Arms

I created the primary out of an ABS plastic servo arm, cut to shape. These rocker arms will attach to the bottom side of the flippers. The photo's shown below are out of sequence with the build photo's above. The arms were created previous to adding the graphics to the play board.
